Clean the nozzle with spray gun brush and solvent, wipe the outside of the gun body with a cloth soaked with diluent, and pay attention to wipe off all paint traces. Do not soak the whole spray gun directly in the cleaning fluid, which will harden the sealing ring and destroy the lubrication effect. If the spray gun is not cleaned immediately after use, the nozzle will partially or completely plug up, resulting in spray splitting (spray dried paint debris) or spray shape not correct. This is especially true for enamels with additives. Because the enamel will harden inside the spray gun if it is not cleaned immediately after use.
